A top London wedding planner uses 88 Events to style a luscious marquee wedding

On a recommendation from one of their suppliers, Kathryn Lloyd Wedding Design approached us to discuss the styling of their client‘s marquee wedding.

They were invited to our design studio where one of our event design team spent the afternoon discussing the client’s colour scheme, tastes and styling ideas.

With the venue, flowers and design in mind, the tables were designed using ivory, lots of polished pewter and silverware.

Not just product hire

During the run-up to the wedding we liaised with the other suppliers to ensure that all aspects of the setup involving 88 Events would flow smoothly on the day.

On the morning of the wedding, our events team arrived bright and early to set-up for the ceremony and reception.

We brought in chairs covered with crisp white essential linen chair covers. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a champagne reception for which we had sourced natural coloured parasols for the patio.

When dinner was announced they made there way through a walkway, lit with our lighthouse lanterns, to a fabulously dressed marquee.

88 Events‘ antique easels presented guests with a table plan to find their seat, whilst our cream chandeliers twinkled from the marquee ceiling.

The tables were dressed in luxurious ivory faux silk tablecloths and chair covers.

Ivory faux silk napkins were displayed with a single cream rose in polished silver napkin rings which complemented the pewter goblets, silver frames of the table names and pewter nitelight holders that surrounded the floral table centres.
