Gordon Ramsay Gala Dinner raises £100K for Scottish Charity
Official design sponsors 88 Events are pleased to announce that the recent Gordon Ramsay Gala Dinner at Stirling Castle has raised a staggering £100k for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
Themed around All Hallow’s Eve, guests were spooked by flying ghosts, ghouls, gremlin and fire artists as they made their way into the castle for a champagne reception in the Chapel Royal, followed by dinner and entertainment in the Great Hall.
88 Events had designed the Great Hall to reflect the opulence of the Castle and the darker side of the All Hallow’s Eve theme. Rich vintage damask linen in jet-black noir and mystical damson dressed the tables, whilst the focal point of each were high gloss black candelabra - a modernistic take on the iconic table centre that added some distinctive glamour and a gothic twist to the event. Each place setting was designed with beautiful swirl glassware, coloured glass charger plates and hand-made personalised menus.
Guests were treated to food by Nick Nairn’s team, entertainment from their host Gordon Ramsay, guest speaker Janet Street Porter, stunning singing from Broadway star John Owen-Jones and spooky stories from Scottish John Gordon Sinclair.
88 Events styling was praised by Gordon Ramsay during his speech, stating that the event ‘looked truly stunning’, whilst Head of Fundraising for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association Deborah Roe said,
‘I do not think anyone could have failed to notice the stunning styling in the Great Hall tonight and we would like to thank 88 Events, Scotland’s premier event management company for their support as design sponsors. 88 Events have worked with us throughout the year advising us on the look and theme of tonight’s event. We are very grateful to Sheila Samuels and her team.’
88 Events are already looking forward to an even more luxurious and extravagant event next year!
