Jackie lives in South Africa so when we met her at our design studio, it was important that we quickly got a grip of what Jackie wanted to achieve for her wedding. At 88 Events, we’re already busy working on proposals for weddings taking place in Summer 2012. Some of these proposals will almost certainly include ideas for having an outdoor wedding ceremony. Anyway, we’ve been asked by a client to put down the pros and cons of her having an outdoor wedding ceremony next year. This, combined with the beautiful weather, outside makes it the perfect opportunity to share them with you.

This is a picture taken from Maltings floor in the world famous Balvenie distillery in Dufftown, Banffshire. Its in this room where four men on different shifts tend the Malting Floor, turning the barley to ensure even germination – one of the key stages involved in producing the multi award winning Balvenie Single Malt.
