Enhanced Table Dressing – Napkin Decoration

| October 4, 2011 | Comments (0)

One of the most common areas of concern for event planners and brides is how to lift their table dressing to another level.

It’s all well and good having a nice looking tablecloth and perhaps a chair cover, however if you want to take your table styling to a higher level, you’re going to require some enhanced thinking with regards to how you you utilise your ‘table real estate’.

You only have a finite amount of space to play with on a table and so you should think carefully about how you use it.

A great way of enhancing any table design without taking up additional space is by decorating the napkin.

Over the years, the banqueting industry has perfected some fancy ways of displaying napkins in all manner of shapes and sizes. So swans, goblets and even phallic looking towers are popular. You’ll need a crash course in origami to master this peculiar art and a ‘starched’ napkin too. This is the traditional way of doing things.

However, at 88 Events, we like to go even further than that and we’ve put together a gallery of some great ways you can decorate your napkin.

Decorating your napkin is without doubt one of the best ways to enhance your table design without taking up any extra space on the table.

At 88 Events, our team can design a bespoke napkin decoration for you or you can simply hire napkin with beautiful ribbon as part of our hire collection.
